Who is responsible

StayQode LLC provides the StayQode platform. Depending on the activity, StayQode and the accommodation host may each act as a data controller. Questions can be sent to legal@stayqode.com.

Information we collect

• Host account, workspace, property, billing and support information.
• Reservation details received from Hostaway, including guest contact information, stay dates and language where supplied.
• Guest information submitted through a portal, including consent choices and requests.
• Portal and QR activity such as scans, sessions, device type, clicks and purchases.
• Technical records needed for security, troubleshooting and message delivery.

Why we use it

We process information to provide contracted services, secure the platform, deliver stay communications, process purchases and payouts, respond to requests, meet legal duties and improve the service. Where consent is the appropriate basis, it can be withdrawn.

Service providers and international transfers

We use specialist providers for hosting, property-management integration, payments, email, video, printing and WhatsApp delivery. They receive only the information needed for their role and are governed by contractual and security requirements. Cross-border transfers use an appropriate legal safeguard where required.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, contractual obligations, dispute handling and legal recordkeeping. We use access controls, tenant separation, encrypted transport, audit records and backups to protect platform data.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may complain to your supervisory authority. See our data deletion instructions or email legal@stayqode.com.
